how long should one do cardio exercise to get flat stomach?

i noe that "Cardio exercises are the best, not crunches"..so, which one is the best cardio exercise and how long (like 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour?)should one do it? please help.Thank You.

It depends on where you are to begin with, and where you want to end up. Doing a mixture of things is important. First and foremost, calories burnt while running are based not on the time spent running alone, but the distance run, so keep that in mind. I’d suggest trying to do 3 miles in 30 minutes to start, and eventually doing about 5 miles in that same time period.

Interval training (where you run at your top speed, then jog slowly) is very effective, too. But make sure to vary it up (sometimes do biking, for example) so your body doesn’t get too used to what you’re doing.

The biggest factor to a flat/trim and toned stomach is diet. Exercise of any type is good, but eat right is more important.

Our abs and stomach are like our legs, almost always in motion so there is muscle there under the cheeseburgers and fries.
