Is it a bad idea to do 30 minutes of cardio exercise twice a day?
I’m a 31 year old male, 5′10 and weigh almost 200 pounds. I am trying to lose weight and have started doing around 30 minutes a day of running in place along with some other cardio exercises. Is it going to put too much strain on my heart if I start doing it twice a day?
No its great as long as you are in good health! You might want to add some variety to your workouts by adding strength training.

Hi!
Instead of worrying about cardio, how aabout walking for an hour a day first? Walking is a great way to lose weight and get into more cardio. Just make sure to walk and not stroll along. When you feel confident walking, then you should try jogging/walking/jogging etc. This way you can build up your stamina and not worry about your heart.
If it is something you are still worried about, consult a doctor for advice.
Good luck~!
