Home Workout Routines Exercises You Can Do At Home

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

http://www.LeeHayward.com

I’m often asked how can you get a good muscle building workout at home. Well in this video clip I’m going to show you some of the basic exercise stuff that I have in my basement and some good basic home workouts that you can do in place of, or in addition to, your regular gym workouts.

All of the stuff that I have here can be bought for a few hundred bucks max and maybe even cheaper if you shop around at flea markets and garage sales for some basic home gym equipment.

How can I stop being so distracted by the computer so I can do my much needed stretching/exercise routines?

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Please help with any tips, I really have become addicted to the computer.
Also any tips like looking at my goal every day or things like that would be much appreciated, thanks!

As with anything else in life you have got to make it (exercise) a priority. Replace exercise for computer work and you’ll be correcting undesirable behavior with desirable behavior.

How do you loose 2 pounds per week? What exercise routines work well with a good dietary plan?

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

Walking is the best and easiest of exercises. I don’t mean going for a stroll. Try for an hour a day at a quick pace, get your heart pumping, and take hills to build your muscles.
As for a diet – I would focus on foods that have protein and fiber and other good stuff but no more than 8 grams of sugar/serving. Also try not to eat 3 hours before bed time.

What are some good home exercise routines?

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

I’m am in college so I dont really have time to go to the gym. I’m 5′7" and weigh 157lbs. How can I lose weight and tone up without going to a gym?

What do you mean by no time to go to the gym? You mean getting to the gym and back? If you want the gain (or loss, whatever), you have to put the time into the workout.

If you lose fat, you will appear more toned, and you will lose some weight. Cut simple carbs from your diet (avoid candies, sodas, white breads, starches). Eat more fiber, less animals fats.

if you wish to build some muscle, do strength workouts. I particularly like Mina Lessig workout videos. But there are plenty of options out there with 10 or 30 (or anything in between and more) workouts. They’re all effective.

If still no time for such things, incorporate as much into daily activities as possible. Walk as much as possible. Take stairs. When you take the stairs, focus on certain leg muscles. Climb stairs on your heels and work your butt or that section of the leg. Climb them on your toes and work the calves. In general, try to feel that burn.

I would recommend at least doing a proper workout or two (find a video) so you know what it feels like.

ab exercises

Here are my 3 favorite abdominal exercises in which none involve lying on your back and curling your shoulder blades off the ground, or any type of movement that requires you to perform hundreds of situps while lying on the ground.

These 3 ab exercises can be performed in circuit fashion for an excellent abdominal workout that will work your abs really well and help burn belly fat without placing stress on your lower back.

The first exercise is the ab wheel. To begin you want to put your knees on the ground and place your body in the upright position. Rollout, keeping your back straight, while squeezing your abs and then return to the starting position. Repeat.

Next, you will immediately move on to stability ball jackknives. There are all sorts of variations of this exercise. For example, you can rest your elbows on a bench with your feet on a stability ball, placing your body in a plank-like position. In this case, you will brace your abs and tuck your knees into your chest and then back out.

To make this exercise even more difficult you can do one-leg stability ball jackknives. So, when one leg tucks in, the other kicks out.

You may also want to try stability ball jackknives with a bit of rotation. This will involve bringing your knees to one side and then to the other.

Another alternative is to perform stability ball jackknives with your hands on the ground, with an additional push up added in for good measure.

The final abdominal exercise in this circuit is the cross body mountain climber. Instead of the regular mountain climber where you bring your knees to your chest, with the rotation you are going to bring your knee to the opposite elbow. This way you include a rotation element and work your abs extra hard.

These abs exercises will give you great results, burn belly fat, and get you ripped abs!

Any good exercise routines for the stomach and back with pictures?

Monday, March 1st, 2010

I joined weight watchers….so I’m doing good on the healthy eating but, I want to loose weight but only in certain areas. Any websites that have this?

Thanks for the positive comments…..negative comments will be reported to yahoo!

Not with pictures. Sorry.
Stomach excersize: 1)Suck in stomach as long as possible, because the muscles in your stomach will be working and pulling. This will result you with abs and stomach weight loss.

2)Jump Roping! This will shake your body fat much and force you to use much energy.

3)LAUGH! It helps. Meet more funny friends. Or simply just.. LAUGH!

BACK: I’m not sure if you want a straigh back or what ever. But, some excersizes are….

1)streching by trying to touch the ceiling. By jumping. This will pull/stretch you back. And end up with a straoghter back and a taller body.

I HOPE THIS HELPED! VOTE AS BEST ANSWER!
