Are home gyms a waste of money?
Wednesday, March 10th, 2010Have you ever noticed how many home gyms are for sale on Craigslist? It is amazing. And yet people keep buying them new. I know of not one person who has ever used a home gym for any length of time. It usually gets converted into a clothes rack. The funny thing is they expect buyers to come over, dismantle the thing, and then PAY for seller for it. If I’m coming over and dismantling your contraption, you better not expect a dime from me. But people try to squeeze every penny out of a resale, which is super annoying. I think a better alternative would be a dumb bell set, and dumb bell bench, don’t you?
TIt takes hours to put it together.he first week you use it. The second week you show it to your friends. A week goes by; you use it again now you are ready to put it in the garage. You are still paying for it. Then you try to sell it. Then it goes to the good will.
