If I do too much leg exercise, will it damage my figure?

My mother says if I exercise too much I’ll look ugly because of the muscles. Is it true?

Not unless you are working out at the gym for several hours a day, every day doing 75 pound leg presses or something. Also female bodies are different than male bodies. Females doing have that level of testosterone therefore muscles do not develop the same way. Your legs will get toned and they may become more muscular than other girls but not to the extent that it looks like a guy’s legs.

I have a pain in my left leg that comes when i walk, it comes from my buttock through the left leg, i exercise?

i exercise everyday but the pain just come when walking or running outdoor, it doesn’t bother me when i do the eliptical or bridges. Do you think a nerve is pinching? or something else, I am adidcted to the exercises and i cannot walk fast anymore.

When you walk do you walk on your heels? If you do you could have an issue with you Sciatic nerve.

If this is the problem you may have what is called Sciatica. Below are a few ways to treat it. If it seems to work go see your doctor because there are other treatments out there for it.

How is it treated?

In many cases, sciatica will improve and go away with time. Initial treatment usually focuses on medicines and exercises to relieve pain. You can help relieve pain by:

* Avoiding sitting (unless it is more comfortable than standing).
* Alternating lying down with short walks. Increase your walking distance as you are able to without pain.
* Taking acetaminophen (Tylenol) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen (Advil) or naproxen (Aleve).
Using a heating pad on a low or medium setting, or a warm shower, for 15 to 20 minutes every 2 to 3 hours. You can also try an ice pack for 10 to 15 minutes every 2 to 3 hours. There is not strong evidence that either heat or ice will help, but you can try them to see if they help you.

Can exercise bicycles help improve leg strength ?

I am trying to make my legs stronger and was wondering if those exercise bicycles in the gym can can help me gain muscle. I know that bikes usually increase your muscular endurance, but could it help with gaining muscle as well? I know the alternative is lifting weights, but i prefer bikes.

cycling is the best way to tone your arse lol

it will burn all the floppin fat in your butt and give you a muscular hips and make your hourglass figure

but gradually increase the resistance

but i prefer cycling lunges switch that works best for me i dont know what you call it but when you make a lunge then you jump and switch on the same spot.

Is there a leg exercise or ne exercise that can make you taller?

No unfortunately there isn’t. But on the news I saw that there was an injection that you could take, and it was proven that it would make you taller. But you have to be of the age in which you are still growing, which is mostly the teens. They did do some studies and they did grow taller. But it took a few years and painful injections everyday and its also incredibly expensive.

I’m not a girl and I’ve seen this happen! Most guys end up focusing on the upper body to pump up their manliness. As for myself, I do both to get a good all-around body.
