    but never put your shoulders on the ground while doin crunches or situps.

    He didn’t claim that they were I don’t beleive. Major differences are hands interlocked behind the head, and you have to be completely upright.

    How do you mean what area?
    It works your abs, which part of them…depends on how you do the situps.
    These makes most resistance on the lover part of your abs, and ab crunches work your upper abs.
