Well it is said …
Well it is said that they help lubricate joints, but I haven’t notice it as much as it has helped me burn a little more fat from around my body and the Omega 3 fatty acids are good for over all health. Hope this helps answer your question.

i’m working out on a regular basis, not as much as you do but 3-4 times a week! cardio and strength! i’d like to become a good runner though (my cardio is mostly on a crosstrainer or a spinningbike) so my question is: how did you first start out? how fast should a beginner run? how long time? i’m always demotivated because i don’t know what i’m supposed to do!

@krngirlie89 I like …
@krngirlie89 I like road running the best. The treamill is fine, but harsh on the knees, and you’ve gotta use it at at least a 1.0 incline. Elliptical can be effective as long as you are using it properly. Ask a trainer at your gym to find out.

@rach0babe make sure your personal trainer has experience with teens! I would suggest trying out for a sport like track or cross country if you can.

“what do i do to …
“what do i do to stay in shape” …
You’re wrong Sarah, you know? The most important thing YOU do, is that you do it regularly. What people looking at your videos ARE looking for, is a 5-minute fix to their lifetime problems.

Hi, Sarah. I …
Hi, Sarah. I applaud you for your positive attitude and encouragement of health for others.
My life (and goals) are (obviously) different from yours. I am 45 years old, male, but even when I was 20 or a teenager, I was always ugly. So, I never felt the need to exercise, since exercise will not un-do my natural appearance. Furthermore, since exercise will not reverse aging.
I have been mostly vegan since 1984 – to prevent torture and killing of innocent animals in factory farms.

2. It’s consuming. …
2. It’s consuming. People who are really into exercising and “being healthy”–well, it seems like it’s all they do. I really do want to be healthy, but if that means that my whole life will revolve around it, well… Then I’m not really adding any time on to my life, am I? I mean, it really is an entire culture–they buy equipment, they get top-of-the-line exercise clothes and shoes, and they’re always trying the latest workout video and fat burning fad. It’s not something I desire.

I’ve enjoyed these …
I’ve enjoyed these videos, but there are a couple of things that bother me about the whole “exercise” culture.
1. The exercises are a hard workout even for those who ARE ALREADY IN GOOD SHAPE. That means that those of us who are fluffballs have an impossible time trying to keep up and are ready to collapse after 5 minutes.
