I have gone from …
I have gone from saying a double straight to saying double layout, i think double straight does sound odd… but, there is a definite distinction between the two. Very few people do a double straight, because the body is completely rigid and straight, whereas a layout is more like a backflip, in that the head very much leads and the feet are at least 200 degrees from the head.

It’s mostly called …
It’s mostly called a double layout in artistic gymnastics but in trampoline and tumbling gymnastics it’s called a double straight. And since both are gymnastics I believe she’s correct for calling it either.

Double twists are …
Double twists are so much easier to control, imagine if she lost her balance on the triple twist and the deductions she could get for stepping out of the border and falling as well as crossed legs even. So much room for errors in a triple twist.

Unofrtunately, her …
Unofrtunately, her score wouldnt be that high now. zor even at the oympics last year. Her start value would actually only be a 5.8 because you are only allowed to count 8 skills, not 10. The code is so strict these days. But it does help me out since my last 2 skills would probably be b’s. I like the fact that they cut it down to 8 when it comes to florr….but not when it comes to bars…
