When is the best time to eat before and after an exercise workout?

Should i exercise before i eat breakfast? or have breakfast first and then work out….how long later? what about dinner and lunch?

if you run or excersice before you eat you are burning more muscle than you are fat. if you want to run in the morning, you should have a light snack such as a nutri grain and then go running. when you come back inside you should wait at least 45 minutes before eating a good breakfast so that your body can have time to burn fat. As for lunch and dinner do the same as breakfast except eat a bit more before excersising. hope this helps!

    both (for energy reasons)…..if possable

    but overal it doesn’t matter when – nothing special

    i recomend before b/c you have more energy while doing it

    complex carbs before the workout and then some protein with a bit of carbs after!

    Always eat after, exercise works best at boosting fat burn if you are comming off of a fasting period (such as in the morning before breakfast).

    Have some light food before exercise for energy and it actually depends on how vigorous the exercise is.

    If you exercise before breakfast you will set your metabolism for the day and burn more fat and have more energy all day long.

    It’s also important to consume lean protein within 15 min of exercise to help muscle repair itself.

    First of all any supplements that you take should be taken about 30 mins AFTER your workout

    as for eating before or after meals ….. that’s a personal issue or preference …. so do what comfortable for you !
